HG IBO #15 Gundam Barbatos 6th Form

The Gundam Barbatos 6th Form is the final version of Barbatos used in the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. With this HG Gundam Barbatos 6th Form model kit, you’ll get all the parts to create the 6th Form, plus additional components to recreate the 5th Form Ground version. Bandai included some pieces to build the 5th Form Space version, but you’ll need a waist bracket from the HG Gundam Barbatos & Long distance Transport Booster Kutan San and the leg thrusters from the HG McGillis Schwalbe Graze to complete the look. The Gundam Barbatos 6th Form, like Barbatos’s other forms, utilizes spare parts from defeated Mobile Suits, including the shoulder armor from a mass production Graze Ritter. Like the 5th Form, Gundam Barbatos 6th Form features additional chest armor to increase pilot survivability.

Articulation –

Gundam Barbatos 6th Form uses the same internal construction as the rest of the HG IBO Gundams, so building Gundam Barbatos 6th Form will be pretty familiar if you’ve assembled other HG IBO models before. While this may seem like purely cost-cutting, it is in line with the Post-Disaster timeline lore. Gundam Barbatos 6th Form features a pair of skirt-mounted thrusters, each with multiple articulation points for dynamic posing opportunities.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Gundam Barbatos 6th Form’s primary armament is the gigantic Wrench Mace. This massive melee weapon causes catastrophic damage to enemy Mobile Suits when swung. That’s not all! The Wrench Mace’s head opens up to reveal a hidden chainsaw blade used to clamp down enemy Mobile Suits and quickly shred them to pieces. Gundam Barbatos 6th Form also includes optional forearm-mounted weaponry, namely a set of 170mm Autocannons for close-range attacks, and a pair of Arm Mortars with an articulated deployment mechanism for display purposes.
