HG Seed #16 ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam + Meteor Unit

The METEOR is a support unit developed by ZAFT to function alongside the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam and the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam. The METEOR drastically increases the offensive potential of the docked Mobile Suit, featuring two warship-class 120cm High-Energy Beam Cannons attached to its movable arms. The METEOR also utilizes a pair of massive thrusters developed from the ZGMF-1017M Ginn Type High Maneuver, enabling the docked Mobile Suit to perform high-mobility attacks. ZAFT designed the METEOR alongside the FFMH-Y101 Eternal, which featured external docking stations for two METEOR units. While attached to the Eternal, the METEOR could function as additional turrets.

Articulation –

The Freedom Gundam model included with the HG Meteor Unit + Freedom Gundam is identical to the previously released HG SEED #07 Freedom Gundam released way back in 2003! This model features double-jointed knees, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The METEOR unit can transform between its inactive mode and its docking state. The METEOR unit also features several brackets to help support the Freedom Gundam in its docked state. Once docked, builders can articulate the METEOR unit’s main cannons individually, just like in the anime! The HG Meteor Unit + Freedom Gundam includes thorough sheets of color-correcting and marking stickers to help recreate its on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Meteor Unit + Freedom Gundam includes all the standard handheld equipment used by the Freedom Gundam. The MA-M20 “Lupus” Beam Rifle features an articulated forward grip for additional security when firing. Builders can attach this weapon and the Mobile Suit’s Shield to the included display stand for storage. This model also features an unpainted Beam Saber/manipulator combo piece to recreate the activated equipment. Bandai provided two massive transparent pink beam effects to display the MA-X200 Beam Swords’ activation.
