HG Thunderbolt RX-78AL Atlas Gundam

The RX-78AL Atlas Gundam is a prototype Mobile Suit developed by the Earth Federation shortly after the conclusion of the One Year War. The Earth Federation designed the RX-78AL Atlas Gundam with extreme versatility in mind, creating a Mobile Suit capable of fighting on the ground, in space, or underwater! The Federation developed the RX-78AL Atlas Gundam’s “Globe Joints” based on the Principality of Zeon’s amphibious Mobile Suits, providing watertight seals and improved mobility. The RX-78AL Atlas Gundam’s narrow silhouette drastically improves the Mobile Suit’s underwater maneuverability. The RX-78AL Atlas Gundam also utilizes two Sub-Legs mounted to its waits, which provides atmospheric flight capabilities and improves underwater performance.

Articulation –

The HG Atlas Gundam features a unique construction comprised entirely of new parts, as this is the first rendition of this distinctive Mobile Suit in the High Grade Thunderbolt line! This model features unique joint structures in its limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Atlas Gundam is polycap-free, providing greater longevity to the model’s posable sections. This model includes sizable sheets of color-correcting and marking stickers to help recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Atlas Gundam includes a massive yellow Railgun as its primary handheld armament. There is also a pair of small Assault Rifles included for additional offensive capabilities. The HG Atlas Gundam features two Beam Sabers stored inside its shoulder armor for easy access during underwater engagements. Builders can use the included Blade Shield as an additional handheld armament or convert the HG Atlas Gundam into Submarine Mode by connecting the Mobile Suit’s sub-legs.
