HG00 #03 GN-002 Gundam Dynames

Attacking from way outside the enemy’s range is the GN-002 Gundam Dynames, a Sniper Type Mobile Suit piloted by a Celestial Being Gundam Meister dubbed Lockon Stratos. The GN-002 Gundam Dynames relies on a bespoke GN Sniper Rifle and the Mobile Suits onboard sensors to assault targets at extreme distances. This weapon can destroy an enemy Mobile Suit in a single blast but requires an incredibly skilled pilot at the controls. One of the Gundam Dynames’ most unique aspects is its ability to equip two gigantic GN Shields to its shoulder armor for added protection. These GN Shields feature individually articulated panels controlled by an onboard AI Haro. Through a combination of pilot skill and AI support, the Gundam Dynames was almost unstoppable. The Gundam Dynames appeared during the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and reappeared during Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie -A Wakening of the Trailblazer- in a repaired state.

Articulation –

This HG GN-002 Gundam Dynames was released almost 15 years ago, predating many of the modern aspects you’ve come to expect from Bandai’s HG Gundam lines. The HG Gundam Dynames makes up for its dated range of motion with unique gimmicks, including a deployable long-range sensor hidden behind the V-fin, articulated vernier thrusters, and a cloak of green armor panels. The HG GN-002 Gundam Dynames also includes a sheet of foil stickers, providing builders with greater color accuracy right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The GN Sniper Rifle used by the GN-002 Gundam Dynames includes an optional bipod in its deployed state for recreating distinctive firing poses. This weapon can also clip onto Gundam Dynames’ shoulder armor for secure storage. GN-002 Gundam Dynames’ assorted GN Shields are easily removed and relocated for display purposes. The larger GN Full Shields feature multiple articulated panels, allowing Gundam Dynames to fire its payload while still encased in its armor shell. On either side of the rear skirt verniers are two GN Beam Saber Hilts for close-quarters engagements. Unfortunately, there are no effect parts for these weapons, so you’ll need a couple of spare HG00-style flat Beam Effects to complete the deployed look.
