HG00 #37 GN-009 Seraphim Gundam

$13.99

The GN-009 Seraphim Gundam is a small transformable Mobile Suit developed by Celestial Being as the successor to the GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh. Like its predecessor, the GN-009 Seraphim Gundam features the Trial System, which allows GN-009 Seraphim Gundam to remote-control nearby Gundam units; as long as they connect with Celestial Being’s Veda supercomputer. The Trial System served as a failsafe, dissuading the other Gundam Pilots from betraying Celestial Being and preventing enemies from capturing the Gundams. Celestial Being designed the GN-009 Seraphim Gundam as a partner unit for the GN-008 Seravee Gundam, containing the Mobile Suit’s GN Drive while mounted to its torso like a backpack. The Mobile Suit features built-in GN Cannons that function while docked with the Seravee Gundam or while the pilot operates the GN-009 Seraphim Gundam.

Included alongside the HG Seraphim Gundam for accessories:

  • GN Beam Saber x2
  • Beam Effect (Short) x2
  • Backpack Mode Parts

Articulation
 –

The HG Seraphim Gundam features an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, as this was the first full-rendition of this Mobile Suit in the High Grade Gundam 00 Line! This model features double-jointed knees, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Seraphim Gundam also transforms into backpack mode to replace the non-transformable version included with the HG00 #26 GN-008 Seravee Gundam. This model has a built-in 3mm attachment point where builders can connect their preferred Action Base. Bandai provided a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to help recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Seraphim Gundam includes two GN Beam Sabers as its sole handheld armaments. Bandai provided two different lengths of beam effects to recreate this equipment’s activation. The HG Seraphim Gundam can also wield the GN Bazooka IIs included with the HG00 #26 GN-008 Seravee Gundam. Builders can unfold the blade antennas on the HG Seraphim Gundam’s chest while attached to the Seravee Gundam to activate Face Burst Mode, rapidly increasing GN particle output.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG00 #37 GN-009 Seraphim Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too!

It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides.

This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
