The WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam is the star of the Turn ∀ Gundam animated series. This super unique Gundam comes from the mind of Syd Mead, most famous for his work on the Blade Runner movies. The WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam exists in a time long after any other Gundam Series. Much of the technology that makes up the WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam is unknown to the characters in the show.

Included with the WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam, you’ll find a ton of awesome accessories, including:

Articulation –

The WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam is a super unique High Grade Model kit. The exotic nature of the design might make the instructions a little hard to follow, so new builders should keep this in mind. Bandai made no compromises when adding modern articulation points to the WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam, so your Gundam should be on par with any other High Grades from this time. The blue sections of the torso can both swap out for open-hatched versions included on the runners. Use them to recreate the action poses from the animated series.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

This Gundam has a mustache. That should be all the information you need to purchase, but I will continue. The Beam Rifle extends using the included option part. The handle will fold up into the rifle for storage, and the weapon stores right on the WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam’s back when not in use. The same goes for the Shield and Beam Sabers! Bandai even included a separately molded Core Fighter to display alongside the WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGCC #177 WD-M01 Turn ∀ Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
