HGCE #171 GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam

The Aile Strike Gundam is the most common configuration of the Earth Alliance’s Strike Gundam. The Strike utilizes various Striker Packs, each specializing in different combat roles. The Aile Striker pack grants the Strike increased maneuverability in space and the atmosphere but does not enable full atmospheric flight. The Aile Strike Gundam could, however, leap high into the air and glide for an extended period with the help of the Aile Striker. The Aile Strike Gundam is the Earth Alliance’s only remaining Mobile Suit from the G Project, as the other four units fell into the hands of ZAFT. The Aile Strike Gundam was the personal unit of Kira Yamato, the main character of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed until he captured the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam. Mu La Flaga would become the primary pilot after Kira, and the Strike would eventually become the Perfect Strike Gundam.

Articulation –

The Aile Strike Gundam is the revived version of the HG R01 Aile Strike Gundam, released in 2011 using the original High Grade molds from way back in 2002! This HGCE Aile Strike Gundam features a thoroughly redesigned construction, incorporating all the latest engineering missed in the decade following the initial High Grade release. The Aile Strike Gundam has no problem pulling off any pose, with its double-jointed knees and elbows. The Aile Strike Gundam’s swiveling thighs will give the model a dynamic look in any stance. Even the Aile Striker’s wings and trusters articulate, making flying poses that much easier.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The 57mm High Energy Beam Rifle includes an articulated handle for the Aile Strike Gundam’s opposite hand. You’ll also find a pair of deployed combat knives, which require some silver paint to match their appearance in the anime. Unlike their anime counterparts, these knives do not fold up for storage within the Mobile Suit. They are purely decorative. With the Striker Pack comes two standard Beam Sabers, each with its own Beam Effect for display purposes.
