HGCE #201 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam

The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom is the pinnacle of Cosmic Era Mobile Suit development! The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom is the follow-up to the ZAFT’s ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, which met its end during Operation Angel Down. ZAFT began developing the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom to replace the Freedom but Terminal, an organization with ties to the Clyne Faction, stole the plans and completed the construction of the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom as Kira Yamato’s personal unit. The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom incorporates aspects from many different Mobile Suits, including the Voiture Lumiere system utilized by the Stargazer Gundam. When coupled with the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom’s unique Hyper Deuterion Nuclear Reactor, the Voiture Lumiere could propel the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom indefinitely, or at least until the reactor overexerted itself. Unlike its power supply, these HGCE renditions of the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom won’t last forever, so be sure to get your hands on one when available!

Articulation –

This HGCE ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom takes advantage of some unique articulation points throughout its construction. To negate the added weight from the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom’s gigantic backpack, Bandai used two ball joints at a 90-degree angle within the chest and a thick peg attaching the waist and torso. These articulation points provide a satisfying ab-crunch and trunk rotation but won’t droop and sag backward over time! The arms and legs both feature double-joints for a dynamic look in any pose. The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom’s wings articulate at the base and fold out to recreate the Full Burst Mode Attack.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom comes with some massive onboard firepower. The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom features eight Super DRAGOONs, which Kira controls with his mind while piloting the Mobile Suit. Each DRAGOON includes a beam assault cannon for individual use or to work in tandem with the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom other weapons systems. The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom also mounts a pair of Railguns to the side skirting armor. For handheld weapons, the Strike Freedom comes with a set of two MA-M21KF High Energy Beam Rifles and two Beam Sabers for close-quarters attacks. The Beam Sabers fuse at the base to form a captivating double-bladed Beam Saber!
