The RGM-895 Stark Jegan is a variant of the standard RGM-89 Jegan used by the Londo Bell during the Laplace’s Box Incident. The RGM-895 Stark Jegan variant focuses on additional armor and firepower, with enough thrust to keep the MS on its toes. The RGM-895 Stark Jegan is just one of many Katoki masterpieces from the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn animated series to make its way into the HGUC line!

Articulation –

Thanks to the borrowed aspects from the previous HGUC #97 RGM-89 Jegan, the RGM-895 Stark Jegan is a sturdy little fellow! However, the RGM-895 Stark Jegan will not have the same level of posability as the previously released version because of the additional armor. To make the most of the RGM-895 Stark Jegan’s posability, try using an Action Base! The RGM-895 Stark Jegan borrows most of its construction from the previously released RGM-89 Jegan. While there are plenty of extra parts because of this, the RGM-895 Stark Jegan does not include all of the pieces necessary to build a standard Jegan.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The RGM-895 Stark Jegan comes equipped with the same Beam Rifle as the RGM-86R GM III, which also features shoulder-mounted missiles. The RGM-895 Stark Jegan holds its Hyper Bazooka underneath the shoulder to prevent collision with the shoulder-mounted launchers. The RGM-895 Stark Jegan only uses one Beam Saber, but Bandai included two Effect Parts of varying length to customize your final model!

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #104 RGM-895 Stark Jegan with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
