HGUC #136 MSN-001 Delta Gundam

$51.99

The MSN-001 Delta Gundam was a prototype transformable design created as a part of the Zeta Project. The removal of transformation capabilities lead to the creation of the MSN-00100 Hyaku-Shiki. That didn’t stop Bandai from creating a stunning High Grade rendition of this Mobile Suit, going as far as gold plating the armor for the perfect finish right out of the box!

Some would say that shiny model kits require shiny accessories; here is what you’ll find alongside the MSN-001 Delta Gundam:

  • Beam Rifle
  • Shiny Shield
  • Shiny Beam Saber x2
  • Parts for Transformation (yes, some are shiny)

Bandai has done us all the service of undergating the majority of the plated gold armor. That means the cleanup process for this kit is much faster, and there won’t be any ugly nub marks showing the original color of the plastic. Transforming into Waverider Mode does require using extra parts, but the final product is truly something special.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Store one of the Beam Saber Hilts within the Shield when not in use. The Shield can then attach to the forearm of the MSN-001 Delta Gundam. While in Waverider Mode, the Shield makes up the nose of the Waverider. The Beam Rifle attaches right to the underside of the Waverider for use while flying. Both modes will directly support any Action Base that uses a 3mm connection too!

This kit includes:

X Runners total (A1, A2, B, C1, C2, D, E, MP1E, SB6, PC132ABC)
Total Piece Count – 205 with 12 Unused Parts
Foil Stickers

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #136 MSN-001 Delta Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
