Much like its predecessor, the RGM-96X Jesta can serve many different combat roles thanks to the development of optional equipment packs. The RGM-96X Jesta Cannon is a heavily armored variation of the Jesta with a substantial upgrade to its firepower. The Jesta Cannon is a must-have for Earth Federation fans, even if you’ve already got the standard HGUC #130 RGM-96X Jesta.

Articulation –

The RGM-96X Jesta Cannon shares the same bones as the original version, so you can expect this kit to build up into an excellent Federation model kit. However, the additional armor plating may inhibit posing compared to the Jesta’s original form.

Well, Bandai went and made what many think is the most stylish beam rifle design ever and made it even better! The best part is that you’ll get both with this model! The shield can also be attached to the backpack using the included sub-arm pieces when not using the Cannon Unit.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #152 RGM-96X Jesta Cannon with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
