HGUC #166 MS-06R-2 Zaku II Johnny Ridden`s Custom

$23.99

The Zaku II Johnny Ridden’s Custom is an MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type painted in his custom color scheme. Zeon intended for the High Mobility Type to replace the MS-06F Zaku II as Zeon’s primary space combat MS but underperformed compared to the MS-09R Rick Dom. Despite not having an animated appearance in a Gundam Series, Bandai still decided to make a stellar HGUC rendition of this Mobile Suit design!

Included with the Zaku II Johnny Ridden’s Custom, you’ll find:

  • Zaku Machine Gun
  • Magazine for Zaku Machine Gun
  • Zaku Bazooka
  • 360mm Bazooka
  • Heat Hawk

Articulation
 –

The Zaku II Johnny Ridden’s Custom features an improved level of detail and articulation compared to HGUC Zaku models of the past. Bandai’s improved engineering means you’ll have a much more lifelike recreation of the Mobile Suit. Reposition the monoeye by removing the Zaku II Johnny Ridden’s Custom’s head and revealing the switch underneath. Bandai has also included a new knee armor gimmick for more realistic flying poses!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The Zaku II Johnny Ridden’s Custom can use all of its weapons with both hands thanks to the included Weapon Holding Left Manipulator. The Spare ammo and Heat Hawk can attach to the side skirt armor without the use of adapters. Everything else can be connected to the same adapter and clipped to the shoulder shield for storage; what a cool gimmick!

Description

HGUC #166 MS-06R-2 Zaku II Johnny Ridden`s Custom

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #166 MS-06R-2 Zaku II Johnny Ridden`s Custom with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
