HGUC #219 MSK-008 Dijeh Karaba Prototype

$24.99

The MSK-008 Dijeh Karaba Prototype is one of the most exotic Mobile Suits piloted by the famous Amuro Ray. Karaba, The Anti-Titans organization on Earth, would be the team behind designing the MSK-008 Dijeh. Many of the engineers formerly worked for Zeon, hence the Mono-eye sensor and exotic coloration. The Karaba team based the design primarily on the RMS-099 Rick Dias. But with a focus on ground combat use. The two mobile suits even share the same equipment loadout.

The Dijeh’s loadout includes:

  • BR-M-87 Beam Rifle
  • Clay Bazooka
  • Beam Naginata

Builders looking for a unique building experience should definitely check out the MSK-008 Dijeh Karaba Prototype. There are some similarities to the previously released RE100 version of the Dijeh, but with plenty of welcome changes (and it’s a lot smaller). Building this kit should be no problem for even the newest Gunpla Builders, thanks to the excellently detailed instructions.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

This kit’s got wings! Literally! Posing the Radiator Fins on the backpack is easy because of the ball-joint attachment points. The Clay Bazooka is stored on the back thrusters when not in use, and the Beam Naginata will do the same on the rear skirt armor.

This kit includes:

13 Runners total (A1, A2, B1, B2, C3, D1, D2, E1, E2, F, G, SB20, PC002)
Total Piece Count – 169 with 2 Unused Parts
Foil Stickers
Materials – PS, PE, TPE

HGUC #219 MSK-008 Dijeh Karaba Prototype

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #219 MSK-008 Dijeh Karaba Prototype with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
