HGUC #70 MS-14S Chars Gelgoog

$20.99

The MS-14S Chars Gelgoog is a Commander-type Mobile Suit used by Char Aznable in the later parts of the original Mobile Suit Gundam television series. This model kit comes molded in Char’s classic colors, making it a must-have for any fans of the Red Comet!

Included alongside Char’s Gelgoog, you’ll find:

  • Beam Rifle
  • Twin Beam Naginata
  • Shield

Articulation
 –

Compared to other Zeon model kits from this time, the MS-14S Chars Gelgoog is much more articulate. The lack of heat piping in the torso allows the Gelgoog to rotate 360 degrees at its base. The Hip joint will swivel back and forth, and the knees are double-jointed too! Change the position of the monoeye by removing the top portion of the Mobile Suit’s head.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Bandai included two transparent yellow beam effects to recreate the deployed Beam Naginata. When not in use, the handle stows away on the inside of the Gelgoog’s Shield. The shield can be attached to the MS-14S Chars Gelgoog’s forearm or on its back when on standby.

This kit includes:

6 Runners total (A, B1, B2, C, D, PC116)
Total Piece Count – 136 with 16 Unused Parts
Foil Stickers
Materials – PS, PE, ABS

HGUC #70 MS-14S Chars Gelgoog

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #70 MS-14S Chars Gelgoog with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
