MG GX-9901 DX Gundam Double X

The GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X is a powerful Mobile Suit seen in After War Gundam X, which established the second alternate timeline within the Gundam Franchise, the After War timeline. This timeline begins after the conclusion of the Seventh Space War, a cataclysmic event that left Earth covered in craters and its inhabitants scattered throughout the wastelands. The New United Nations of Earth developed the Double X using a destroyed GX-9900 Gundam X salvaged from the Seventh Space War to create their own powerful Newtype Mobile Suit. The Double X features a second Satellite Cannon with additional solar panels, providing a significant boost in firepower.

Articulation –

The MG Gundam Double X is a fully modernized Master Grade with a complete inner frame and a functioning cockpit! The model’s double-jointed limbs provide the Mobile Suit with a wide range of motion, supported by a handful of polycaps. The MG Gundam Double X has many movable elements made possible with Bandai’s clever engineering, including unfolding solar panels and articulated Satellite Cannons attached to its back. Inside the Mobile Suit’s forearms and legs are additional solar panels, all of which deploy when the Sattelite System activates.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Gundam Double X’s primary armament is the Twin Sattelite Cannons attached to its back. These devastating weapons draw power from the Mobile Suit’s array of solar panels to fire highly concentrated Beam Blasts, capable of destroying massive targets from incredible distances! For traditional Mobile Suit combat, the Gundam Double X sorties with a Buster Rifle and a pair of Hyper Beam Swords. The Gundam Double X also sorties with a small Defensive Plate mounted to an articulated arm to create powerful action poses while maintaining a secure connection. Builders can fold the Buster Rifle’s handle up and attach the weapon to the back of the Defensive Plate when not in use.
