MG OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon EW

$59.99

The Gundam Epyon is a powerful Gundam Mobile Suit developed by Treize Khushrenada, former commander of OZ, using combat data from the OZ-00MS Tallgeese EW and the other Gundam units. The Gundam Epyon’s design incorporated a more dangerous version of the ZERO System known as the Epyon System, which is functionally identical to the ZERO System but forces the pilot to wear a special helmet. Treize believed that using ranged weaponry like the Wing Gundam’s Twin Buster Rifle was cowardly and opted to outfit the Gundam Epyon with an assortment of close-range weapons, even lacking Vulcan Cannons in its initial form. The Gundam Epyon’s loadout made it excellent at dueling Mobile Suits in one-on-one combat and could easily keep up with the other Gundam Units, as showcased in its battle with the Wing Zero. Like the Wing Gundam, the Gundam Epyon features a transformation into a high-speed Mobile Armor.

Included alongside the MG Gundam Epyon for accessories:

  • Beam Sword
  • Shield
  • 1/100 Zechs Merquise Figure
  • Action Base Adapter for MS
  • Action Base Adapter for MA

Articulation
 –

The MG Gundam Epyon features a complete inner frame and a functioning cockpit hatch that reveals the 1/100 Zech Merquise seated within! When compared to the other MG Endless Waltz releases, the MG Gundam Epyon features an above-average piece count to provide a transformation into Mobile Armor Mode. This transformation combines moving frame elements and relocated parts to create a proportionate look in either form. The MG Gundam Epyon features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The Mobile Suit’s wings feature multiple articulated segments that unfurl for an excellent aerial display!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Unlike other Mobile Suits, the Gundam Epyon’s Beam Sword draws power directly from the Mobile Suit’s powerplant, allowing its pilot to fine-tune the beam’s length. The Beam Sword attaches to the Mobile Suit’s side skirt with a PVC wire. Builders can fit the sword within Epyon’s shield while in Mobile Armor mode. Each segment of Gundam Epyon’s Heat Rod articulates individually for a truly unique display.

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon EW with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
