RG #16 MSM-07S Z`Gok (Char Aznable Custom)

The MSM-07S Z’Gok is a lightly modified version of the standard MSM-07S Z’Gok featuring lighter armor and increased power output. The MSM-07S Z’Gok utilized data gathered by the Msn-03 Gogg and the MSM-04 Acguy in its development, allowing Zeon to learn from their previous mistakes and create a well-rounded aquatic Mobile Suit. The MSM-07S Z’Gok was made just as capable on land as below the sea, adding chemical rockets to increase the Mobile Suit’s mobility on the surface. Char Aznable used this Mobile Suit to infiltrate the Federation’s Jaburo Headquarters during the One Year War. The MSM-07S Z’Gok includes an assortment of built-in weapons, so the only accessory included with this Real Grade rendition is an Action Base Adapter and a 1/144 Char Aznable Figure!

Articulation –

The RG MSM-07S Z’Gok is one of many early Real Grade models utilizing pre-molded inner frame pieces in its assembly. These parts combine hard and soft plastics to create large movable joint sections, to which builders apply additional frame pieces and armor over the pre-molded parts. The unique silhouette cast by the MSM-07S Z’Gok required a new MS Joint system to retain the proper proportions. This updated internal structure provides the MSM-07S Z’Gok with an excellent range of motion. The RG MSM-07S Z’Gok uses almost twice as many pieces as its High Grade counterpart, providing much greater color accuracy on the 1/144th scale. Previous versions of the MSM-07S Z’Gok haven’t come close to the level of color separation found in the RG MSM-07S Z’Gok. The MSM-07S Z’Gok’s foot-mounted propellers use two different colored pieces to provide full rotation, completely outshining the High Grade version’s molded-on detail.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The MSM-07S Z’Gok’s head contains six 240mm missile launchers. These are not torpedos and are unlikely to hit their mark if fired underwater. These missiles launch vertically so the MSM-07S Z’Gok can surface and fire its payload without the risk of exposing itself. For close combat, the MSM-07S Z’Gok uses its Iron Nails. These are super powerful claws, which most famously destroyed an RGM-79 GM with one fatal blow to the torso. Hiding between the individually articulated Iron Nails are two Mega Particle Cannons with almost double the power output of the Beam Rifle used by the RX-78-2 Gundam. The Real Grade MSM-07S Z’Gok is the definitive 1/144 scale rendition of this Mobile Suit, outclassing its High Grade counterpart by all measures.
