RX-78-2 Gundam Entry Grade #EX1

The RX-78-2 Gundam is the furthest advancement of the Earth Federation’s Operation V initiative to create Mobile Suits powerful enough to defeat the Principality of Zeon’s army of Zaku Mobile Suits. The RX-78-2 Gundam Prototype was precisely the answer the Earth Federation was looking for, as it quickly proved itself technologically superior to the mass-production MS-06F Zaku II. The RX-78-2’s special Luna Titanium Alloy armor made it almost impervious to incoming ballistic fire without weighing down the Mobile Suit. At the time, the RX-78-2 was one of the most offensively capable Mobile Suits ever built, as its robust powerplant granted the RX-78-2 Gundam access to an array of beam-based weaponry. Before the RX-78-2 Gundam’s creation, beam weapons had only made their way onto the large space battleships of the Earth Federation and Zeon.

Articulation –

The EG RX-78-2 Gundam features an entirely new construction assembled without any polycaps, ensuring your model will hold a solid pose for years to come! This model features double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The Entry Grade line prides itself on excellent color separation, utilizing several intricate layering techniques to achieve full-color accuracy without any color-correcting stickers. The EG RX-78-2 Gundam also features a built-in 3mm attachment point where builders can connect their preferred Action Base.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The EG RX-78-2 Gundam includes the BOWA*XBR-M-79-07G Beam Rifle as its primary weapon. This equipment features an articulated camera sensor for more intricate posing. The EG RX-78-2 Gundam also features the RX*M-Sh-008/S-01025 Shield for further defense. When equipped, this equipment attaches to the Mobile Suit’s forearm and manipulator for added security when posing. Builders can also attach the Shield to the EG RX-78-2 Gundam’s backpack when not in use.
